Alliance Specific

Released 2009: Advances the position that has been developed by the Alliance on the importance and identification of the approaches that are effective or have the potential to be effective to strengthen families and to prevent or reduce child abuse and neglect.

Released 2009: As the National Alliance of Children’s Trust and Prevention Funds celebrates its 20th anniversary it seems appropriate to reflect on the Alliance’s journey as a national voice for child abuse prevention and on some of the key milestones of the child abuse prevention movement.

Children's Trust Funds

Released 2009: Part one in a series of resources to support Children's Trust Funds (CTFs), their partners and grantees, and parents in creating powerful partnerships to support positive outcomes for children and families.

Released 2009: Developed for state CTFs, enabling them to be even stronger advocates for CAN prevention as they engage with Early Care & Education systems.

Released 2007: Based on evidence regarding quality organizational practices and assessments with state Children’s Trust Funds, the Alliance created Guidelines as well as a Self-Assessment tool for Effective Children's Trust and Prevention Funds.

Community Cafe

Released 2008: This 84 page guide represents the materials Community Cafe Hosts receive upon attending an orientation. The guide includes visuals for conversation, design tools, evaluation tools, sample invitations, handouts, poetry and a sample proposal for grant writing.

Early Childhood Initiative

Released 2009: Developed for state CTFs, enabling them to be even stronger advocates for CAN prevention as they engage with Early Care & Education systems.

Released 2008: ECI Learning Community stakeholders finished the process of developing a Theory of Change (TOC) for the Early Childhood Initiative. The TOC continues to be a living and evolving document which articulates shared goals and understanding within the ECI/LC, assists in the the development of action plans and evaluation plans, and is designed to be useful to the entire Learning Community for decision-making and program improvement as planning for the next phase of ECI begins.

Released 2009:As part of the ECI project Strengthening Families through QRIS this publication acts as a reflective thinking tool that creates a snapshot of what states are doing and have done thus far to embed the Strengthening Families/Protective Factor Framework into QRIS.
